Sharing Our Expertise: Implementing a Custom Solution for a Parquet Board Manufacturer

• The Task:

Develop a system to transfer parquet boards of various sizes from the conveyor line to another production area.

• The Solution:

We designed and implemented a linear traverse system (based on #item profiles) equipped with #Piab vacuum grippers, capable of simultaneously moving parquet boards of different sizes. This ensured precise and damage-free transfer of the boards to another production area (from point A to point B).

By selecting the correct cross-section of the item profiles and manufacturing specialized end caps, we were able to eliminate the need for pneumatic hoses, using the profile body itself as a vacuum channel. This significantly reduced the number of connections, ensuring the reliability and airtightness of the structure.
